Wayne G. MacDowell was born in Woodbury, New Jersey, and raised in the Greater Philadelphia area. After a successful business career in the tea and coffee industry, Wayne retired to St. Pete Beach, Florida, still consulting for the industry. Wayne penned two award-winning novels, Not Just Another Love Story and Not Just Another War Story, the latter hitting number one on Amazon for Military History and winning the President’s Gold Medal at the Florida Authors and Publishers Association conference in Orlando. The project at hand is a group of stories that the author has gathered over his now eighty-eight years. They are not unlike those in which you have also found yourself. Fun and, yes, not so fun. He would love to hear from you about your own stories and encourages you to place pen to paper for yourself and for your family.
