Joyce Fox lives with Arthur, her husband of 52 years, and their black cat, Onyx, in southeastern Tennessee. Much of her time is spent staring out the window, dreaming of the lives Bible characters led and then pu􀆫ng those imaginings onto paper. She likes to say she "lived her life backwards": gettng married at 17, raising a family, graduating from High School at 37, and earning two Masters Degrees in Christian Counseling and Church Ministry from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary.

She has been a writer since childhood, but wasn't published until 2012, when her first book, Slave to Grace, came out. Grace Upon Grace is the sequel to that book. Another book is "in the works" currently.
